Children’s Ministry
Our goal is to demonstrate the love of our Savior to our children, teaching them about Jesus so that they may know Him, love Him and follow Him all the days of their lives. I have no greater joy that to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3 John 1:4

Serving as an Acolyte is a wonderful way for children to get involved in our church services. Acolytes have the important role of helping with the lighting and extinguishing of candles and assisting in various other aspects of worship. It is a meaningful job that helps set a reverent tone for our services.

Our children's ministry is only possible with the help of volunteers. Parents, I invite you to volunteer! I ask that if you have a child who participates in any of the children's ministry services; nursery - 5th grade, that you please support the ministry.
Opportunities for Engagement and Service:
Each Sunday, volunteers serve families, providing children a safe space to grow developmentally and spiritually:
• Nursery Class: New born - 24 months. Babies are cared for and loved, and mothers are given a reprieve to worship.
• 2- & 3-Year Old's Class: Children are cared for and learn the gospel through games, songs, and Bible stories (during both services and Education and Formation).
• Children’s Church Pre-K4 & Kindergarten: Children dive into the Bible’s adventure as they memorize scripture.
• Children’s Church 1st-2nd grade: Children learn scripture, Gospel truths, and about their world.
• Education & Formation Kindergarten - 2nd grade: Children explore stories in the Bible together.
• Education & Formation 3rd - 5th Grade: Kids explore Biblical foundations and tough questions.

Magnified! VBS will teach kids how looking closely at the details of God’s amazing world leads us to proclaim His greatness. Kids will learn that God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises. We can praise God together. We were made to magnify God!

We take our children’s safety very seriously. Our childcare and children's programming are staffed by a combination of staff and volunteers. All of our volunteers are required to complete a background check and attend our child safety training. Our Five Steps for Keeping Children Safe will give you a greater description of what we do to ensure our children's safety.

We welcome your child and want to make appropriate accommodations to make sure he/she is comfortable and able to fully participate in our children's programming. Please contact the Director of Children’s Ministry if you feel that your child needs extra support in order to participate.
